Job Summary

The Accounting Assistant – Receivables plays a key role in maintaining accurate and timely recording of customer payments, monitoring collections, and ensuring that accounts receivable are properly reconciled. This position supports the finance team by preparing reports, coordinating with clients and internal departments, and upholding Unilox's commitment to integrity, accuracy, and efficiency in financial operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable: Track and update customer balances, aging schedules, and collection status on a regular basis.
  • Billing & Invoicing: Prepare, verify, and issue sales invoices and official receipts based on delivery or service completion documents.
  • Collection Coordination: Follow up on outstanding accounts, send reminders to clients, and coordinate with the Sales and Operations teams for collection activities.
  • Payment Posting: Accurately record and reconcile customer payments, including cash, checks, and bank transfers.
  • Document Management: Maintain organized and complete records of billing, collection, and deposit transactions for audit purposes.
  • Reporting: Prepare AR aging analysis, collection summaries, and other receivable reports for management review.
  • Customer Support: Address client inquiries regarding billing discrepancies, statements of account, and payment details in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all receivable-related transactions comply with company policies, BIR regulations, and internal control procedures.
  • Support Functions: Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation and report submission.
