Accounting and Admin Assistant

Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration:
Processing and recording accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Managing payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
- Performing bank reconciliations and verifying financial statements.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and databases.
- Assisting with audit and tax compliance activities.
General Administration:
Answering phones, managing correspondence, and assisting visitors.
- Filing and maintaining organized electronic and physical records.
- Managing office supplies and administrative expenditures.
- Scheduling appointments and managing office logistics.
- Providing support for special projects and other administrative tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant accounting software.
- Ability to learn new software and digital tools.
- Strong data entry and bookkeeping skills.
Soft Skills:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Education and Experience
- BS Accounting Graduate
- An associate's degree in office administration or accounting can provide a competitive advantage.
- Relevant experience or coursework in bookkeeping, office procedures, and financial software is beneficial.
