Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring that all electrical and mechanical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, relevant codes, and quality standards. The role will also oversee the plumbing and fire protection works, as needed.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians, mechanics, technicians, and subcontractors involved in electromechanical installations.
  • Ensure that all electromechanical works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, structural, architectural) to ensure seamless integration of electromechanical systems.
  • Lead regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Resolve any technical issues or conflicts that may arise on-site related to electromechanical works.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed installations and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations and procedures on-site related to electromechanical works.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with relevant local and international codes and standards.
  • Assist in the planning and allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment for electromechanical activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and other project documentation related to electromechanical installations.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Proven 5 years of demonstrated experience particularly in managing an MEP team in all stages of construction handling either electrical (power and lighting) engineering or mechanical (HVAC) engineering. Preferably involved in high-rise residential project.
  • Experienced in dealing with MEP subcontractors
  • Possess a strong understanding of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, grounding, etc.) and mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
  • Expertise in testing and commissioning.
  • Proficiency in reading and analyzing construction plans and drawings.
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to the electromechanical team.
