As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all commissioning activities across complex building services and infrastructure projects. This pivotal role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated systems perform to design intent and meet client and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with design teams, contractors, and clients to oversee commissioning strategies from design through to project handover, ensuring safety, quality, and performance excellence at every stage.

Your Role

• Lead and manage the full commissioning process for MEP systems on large-scale projects.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.
• Review and validate MEP designs to ensure commissioning requirements are integrated early.
• Coordinate between design consultants, contractors, and end-users to achieve seamless project delivery.
• Oversee functional testing, system validation, and performance verification.
• Manage commissioning documentation, reports, and quality records.
• Identify and resolve technical or performance issues promptly.
• Provide mentoring and technical leadership to junior commissioning engineers.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in MEP commissioning, with at least 5 years in a senior/lead role.
• Proven experience managing commissioning on large commercial, healthcare, data center, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, plumbing, and control systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with commissioning software, documentation tools, and QA/QC processes.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., CEng, LEED AP, or similar) is advantageous.
