Business Development Manager

Role Purpose
To manage the relations with payment providers, schemes, wallets, aggregators and mobile carriers. .
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing strategies – Develop and expand Boku's business in country and adapt Boku's strategies to fit the local market.
- Building relationships – Establish and maintain strong rapport with clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Market trends – research and analyse market trends and competitor performance to develop effective strategies, followed by execution of the plans.
- Ensuring compliance – working with internal teams to ensure compliance to local regulations
- Operational efficiency – working with the team to ensure efficiency of operations with partners through optimisation and process improvements
Key Skills and Competencies
- Proactive and customer-focused professional with a strong sense of initiative.
- Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, driving collaboration, and engaging effectively with internal and external cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to make well-informed, timely decisions.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to navigate and respond effectively to change.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Tagalog.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/diploma
- At least 5 years of experience working in a combination of business development, project management, marketing or product development, preferably in Payments/Fintech
