  • Supervise daily production activities to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and resource utilization to ensure efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality Assurance, Maintenance) to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and company quality policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Address and resolve quality issues in coordination with the Quality Assurance team.
  • Lead and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct training on safety protocols, production processes, and quality standards.
  • Schedule shifts and manage attendance to ensure adequate workforce coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on output, quality, and downtime.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Monitor the proper use and upkeep of production equipment.
  • Report equipment issues and coordinate with the Maintenance team for repairs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in food manufacturing, preferably involving food ingredients, spices, or herbs.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office tools.
  • Good communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
