Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc, a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to join their team in Lipa City, Batangas. As a full-time role, this position is crucial in overseeing the manufacturing processes and ensuring efficient operations to support the company's strategic goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the manufacturing engineering team to optimize production processes and increase efficiency

  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and waste reduction

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, maintenance, and production, to resolve issues and implement corrective actions

  • Develop and implement manufacturing engineering strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and product quality

  • Provide technical expertise and support to the production team, offering guidance on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies

  • Mentor and train junior members of the manufacturing engineering team, fostering their professional development

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or supervisory role, preferably in the automotive industry

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation technologies

  • Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
