About the Role

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager (Applications) to lead and manage the delivery of software development and application support services across multiple business units. The ideal candidate has a solid background in Java and .NET development, with additional exposure to Flutter and PHP. Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred, particularly in managing application portfolios that support core business processes such as policy administration, claims, and billing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of application development and maintenance services, ensuring high quality, timely, and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Manage and coordinate with development teams working on Java, .NET, Flutter, and PHP-based applications.
  • Serve as the main liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure service levels and project milestones are achieved.
  • Develop and implement service delivery strategies, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper incident, problem, and change management practices are followed across all supported applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, leveraging experience in application development and architecture.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and modernization within the existing application landscape.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resources related to application services and projects.
  • Work closely with business units in the insurance domain to align technology solutions with operational and strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in application development and service delivery management.
  • Strong technical understanding of Java and .NET frameworks; working experience with Flutter and PHP is an advantage.
  • Previous involvement in projects or solutions related to the insurance industry (policy, claims, underwriting, etc.) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent experience in IT service management is an advantage.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php100, Php110,000.00 per month
