About The Role
The role is responsible for overseeing the IT Group - Run The Bank (RTB) work intake process, which involves receiving requests from various business units or individuals for new projects. They will work with stakeholders to understand the scope and objectives of the work, determine the necessary resources needed and ensure smooth delivery of RTB services.
The role ensures that the necessary documents and activities are accomplished so that RTB can support the newly introduced application. Also, the role oversees the process for BAU activities, which are ongoing operations to maintain RTB supported systems.
How You'll Contribute
- Service Delivery Management – Manage the delivery of RTB services to meet project and BAU needs of the bank.
- Team Leadership – Managing and leading a team of RTB resources including setting project goals and handling escalations.
- Stakeholder Management – Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understand their needs and handling concerns.
- Resource Management – Efficient tracking and allocating RTB resources to projects. Escalates resource related risks in a timely manner and at the right level.
- Risk Management – Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact service delivery.
- Continous improvement – Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
- 5-10+ years professional experience
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL and SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong experience in end-to-end delivery of a solution or infrastructure project as a service delivery manager, IT lead or project manager.
- Good understanding of infrastructure and cloud technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with internal clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and registries.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering reports and presentation materials.
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risk that could impact service delivery.
- Able to keep to up to date with industry trends, and best practices in IT service delivery.
