Maintenance Supervisor

ABRAHAM FAR EAST BOHOL INC. is seeking a technically proficient and environmentally responsible professional to take on the crucial combined role of Maintenance Supervisor and Pollution Control Officer (PCO). This position ensures the resort's infrastructure runs smoothly while maintaining strict compliance with all environmental regulations in Panglao, Bohol.

This is a hands-on role with dual accountability:

Maintenance Supervisor Duties (Facility Upkeep)

• Preventive Maintenance: Lead and execute daily/weekly maintenance checks on all resort facilities, equipment, and utility systems (plumbing, electrical, AC).
• Repairs: Respond promptly to facility repair requests across all resort buildings and guest areas.
• Team Oversight: Manage and direct the resort's maintenance and engineering staff.
• Inventory: Manage inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.

Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Duties (Compliance)

• Permit Management: Ensure all required environmental permits (e.g., Permit to Operate, Discharge Permit) are valid and renewed on time.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee mandatory water quality testing, manage hazardous waste manifests, and submit quarterly Self-Monitoring Reports (SMRs) to the DENR-EMB.
• Waste Management: Enforce the strict "No Segregation, No Collection" solid waste policy on-site and ensure proper hazardous waste storage (used oil, chemicals).
• System Integrity: Ensure the continuous, effective operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities, including grease traps and septic tanks.

• PCO Accreditation: Must be a licensed engineer or professional in physical/natural sciences, or meet DENR-EMB Category B PCO accreditation requirements (e.g., relevant experience).
• Technical Skills: Proven experience in resort/hotel maintenance supervision.
• Location: Must be willing to reside and work full-time in Panglao, Bohol.
