Loader Assistant

Qualifications:

• Educational Background
• At least a High School graduate or equivalent (Senior High School graduate under the K–12 program).

Physical Requirements

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (typically up to 30–50 kg).
• Good vision, hearing, and overall health.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).

Work Experience

• Prior experience in ramp services, cargo handling, or logistics is an advantage but not always required for entry-level positions.
• Familiarity with airport operations is a plus.

Personal Qualities

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work on rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.

Documentation

• Valid government-issued ID.
• NBI/Police clearance (for airport access requirements).
• Eligible to work in the Philippines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Aircraft Loading and Unloading

• Safely load and unload baggage, cargo, mail, and ULDs (Unit Load Devices) from aircraft holds.
• Ensure proper distribution of weight in accordance with loadsheet instructions to maintain aircraft balance.
• Cargo and Baggage Handling
• Handle passenger baggage, air freight, and company materials with care to prevent damage or loss.
• Sort and route baggage and cargo to the correct aircraft or destination.
• Compliance with Safety and Security Procedures
• Adhere to aviation safety, security, and ramp safety regulations (e.g., wearing high-visibility vests, proper PPE, no foreign object debris protocols).
• Coordination with Ground Crew
• Work closely with the loadmaster, ramp supervisor, and other ground staff to ensure timely turnaround of aircraft.
• Communicate any discrepancies (e.g., missing baggage, damaged cargo) immediately.
• Aircraft Marshalling and Guidance
• Assist in guiding aircraft during pushback or parking when required, using standard hand signals.
• Housekeeping and Ramp Maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the ramp area to prevent hazards.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Php13, Php14,000.00 per month
