About the role

Vive Inc. is seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Supervisor to join our growing team in Baguio City, Benguet. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's tax compliance processes, ensuring accurate and timely tax filings, and providing strategic tax advisory services to support the organisation's financial objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the preparation and filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns, including income tax, payroll tax, and sales/use tax
  2. Conduct regular tax audits and assessments to identify potential areas of tax savings and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations
  3. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely tax payments and reporting
  4. Provide tax planning advice and recommendations to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making
  5. Develop and implement tax policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate tax-related risks
  6. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and proactively communicate their impact to the organization
  7. Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals to ensure high-quality work and professional development

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax compliance or tax advisory role, preferably in the Accounting and Taxation industry
  2. Proven track record of managing tax compliance processes and leading a team of tax professionals
  3. Thorough understanding of local tax regulations and their application to business operations
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic tax advice
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
