The Store Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a cosmetics retail store. This role ensures that the team delivers excellent customer service, achieves sales targets, maintains visual merchandising standards, and provides customers with an engaging and personalized beauty shopping experience. The Store Supervisor also helps lead, train, and motivate staff to embody the brand's image and values.

Responsibilities:

1. Store Operations

  • Supervise daily store activities, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure smooth workflow and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor stock levels, replenishment, and product displays.
  • Support the Store Manager in maintaining operational efficiency.

2. Sales & Customer Experience

  • Drive sales by promoting cosmetics and skincare products.
  • Lead the team in delivering personalized consultations and beauty advice.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

3. Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards

  • Oversee product presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene standards in-store.
  • Implement merchandising guidelines to highlight promotions and new products.
  • Ensure the store reflects the brand's luxury, beauty, and lifestyle image.

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate sales associates and beauty advisors.
  • Assist in scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence.

5. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily/weekly sales and inventory reports.
  • Assist in monitoring store expenses and loss prevention.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new staff as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role; cosmetics or beauty retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of cosmetics, skincare, and beauty trends.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Leadership ability with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
