We're looking for an AI Marketing Operations professional who's passionate about blending technology with growth strategies. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thinks like a marketer and builds like an engineer — someone who can deploy tools, automate workflows, and optimize growth funnels through intelligent systems.

As an AI Marketing Operations Specialist at Tolstoy, you'll design and implement AI-driven marketing systems that scale acquisition, retention, and engagement. You'll work closely with growth, product, and engineering teams to test, measure, and refine marketing strategies using AI tools, automation, and data-driven insights.

You'll help us understand customer behavior, personalize communication at scale, and build tools that make our marketing smarter and faster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain AI-powered tools to optimize ad targeting, email personalization, and content generation
  • Use AI/LLM models to create marketing copy, landing page variations, and campaign ideas
  • Analyze funnel performance data and recommend experiments to improve key growth metrics
  • Design and implement growth automations using AI APIs and workflow automation tools
  • Collaborate with marketers and designers to run rapid A/B tests and iterate quickly
  • Develop customer segmentation and retention strategies using predictive analytics
  • Ensure high-quality data pipelines to support personalized marketing and actionable insights
  • Stay up to date with trends in marketing technology, generative AI, and customer analytics

Requirements

  • Strong technical background (e.g. software engineering, data analytics, or similar)
  • Experience with data analysis and automation in a marketing context
  • Solid communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages
  • Familiarity with growth marketing concepts: CAC, LTV, retention, funnel optimization
  • Experience with analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Segment, or Amplitude
  • Bonus: Prior experience applying AI in marketing (e.g., ad performance, content generation, email automation)
  • Bonus: Experience working with LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain)
