Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented person with strong SQL and reporting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing reports that drive data visibility and operational efficiency across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and quality teams.

While experience in Plex ERP is not required, experience with other ERP systems is highly preferred. Candidates with expertise in SQL and other programming languages are encouraged to apply. This position is ideal for someone who is technically adept, thrives on solving complex data challenges, and enjoys turning raw data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SQL-based reports and dashboards.
  • Write, test, and optimize SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with functional teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, etc.) to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
  • Create custom reports, data views, and KPIs to support operational decision-making.
  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and integrations.
  • Document data sources, query logic, and report specifications for long-term maintainability.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests and assist with ongoing data cleanup and system audits.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for processing improvement through data analysis.
  • Assist with data migration, validation, and report testing during system changes or upgrades.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong experience in SQL query development.
  • Experience with other programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, joins, and relationships within ERP or similar systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, data connections, Power Query, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting requests with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams remotely.
  • Amenable with night shift and permanent hybrid setup.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in or supporting ERP systems (Plex experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Experience building dashboards or visual reports.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, or quality management processes.
  • Experience with API data pulls or middleware tools (e.g., Cumulus, Boomi, etc.)
