Cebu2World Development Inc., a subsidiary of Megawide Corporation, is seeking a diligent and proactive Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of company personnel, assets, and operations. Reporting to the Operations Head, this role will manage day-to-day security operations, implement preventive measures, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain a safe and orderly environment within the Carbon Market and other C2W projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security plans to safeguard personnel, facilities, and assets.
  • Manage and oversee security operations including patrols, access control, incident response, and traffic management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including daily activity reports and logbooks.
  • Conduct and monitor security training programs, ensuring personnel are equipped with the skills and knowledge to respond to threats and emergencies.
  • Evaluate the performance of guards and other security personnel, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, local authorities, and emergency response teams when required.
  • Support the enforcement of company rules, regulations, and safety protocols across all operational areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminology or any related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in security administration, operations, or related roles.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency response, and access control systems.
  • Willing to work onsite at Carbon Market, Brgy. Ermita, Cebu City, with flexible scheduling as required by security operations.
