Junior Operation Support

We are looking for an Junior Operation Support/Tester that will be able to test and support existing applications. The main scope of work is support hotel night operations and respond promptly to inquiries, requests, and issues submitted by the client through ticketing system. Therefore, it's essential that you are skilled at problem solving, creating test scenarios and have a good communication skill.

About the Role

· Resolves operation issues and make sure that hotel night operation works smoothly for the systems in production.

· Self-starter/self-learner and can work with minimal supervision.

· Interacts with Users at all levels of the organization as well as vendors and customers, as needed, to support the applications and query resolution.

· Tracks reported defects and discuses/collaborates with the R&D team.

· Understands the functionalities of application flows and operation.

· Creates comprehensive test plan and detailed test cases.

· Creates well-defined test scenarios and test data.

· Plans, estimates, and prioritizes testing activities.

· Identifies, records, and documents defects accurately and correctly.

· Performs UI, sanity, functional, regression, component, and end-to-end testing.

· Contributes to the creation of technical and end user product documentation.

· Collaborates with business analysts, end users, vendors, and customers to assist in user acceptance testing.

· Provides support on as needed basis when there are unscheduled incidents, crisis management, and scheduled maintenance.

· Willing to work in a shifting schedule. This will include nights and weekends.

About the Candidate:

· Strong experience in defect reporting, tracking and management

· Experience working with database operations

· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

· Hands-on experience in: Requirement's analysis, Test planning, Test case detailing and Defect tracking.

· Strong experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

· Skilled at problem solving.

· Experience working with API calls.

· Quick understanding of the functionality of the application under test.

· Out of the box thinking to test and break the application under test.

· Experience with any automated and / or performance test tools is a plus.

· Good English communication skills.

· For permanent WFH set up, the candidate must have his/her own equipment and stable internet connection.
