As Design Ops Junior Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team that equips our business and supply chain-focused departments with systems, tools, and skills to consistently provide quality (accurate, prompt, complete) services and information.

What you will do

Optimize existing systems for consistent quality output

- Know, in depth, the operational work of your assigned department by performing the responsibilities yourself

- Align processes and tools to the Company's core values and priorities through process reengineering, tools refitting, and/or skills development.

Integrate projects into department operations

- Understand the rationale, purpose and process of the project

- Design, document, and implement the workflow and necessary tools to turn the project into a cyclical process that the department can execute

Ensure sustainability of operations

- Document standards and operating procedures as these are established, updated, or overhauled.

- Gather and interpret data to gain insight on performance (of individuals, the department, or processes) for continuous development

- Support transitions through development of training materials and source of know-how to end users

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or any related course
  • 1-2 years work experience OR if a fresh graduate, at least a year of leadership experience in an academic or extra-curricular setting
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet applications or proven ability to self-learn a programming language
  • Openness to undertake unfamiliar tasks or situations
