This position designs and implements website structures, themes, and plugins based on company or client requirements. This also involves collaborating with designers and content teams to create engaging and functional web experiences. The role also includes maintaining system updates, improving site functionality, and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth website operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain websites and web applications using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla)
  • Customize themes, templates, and plugins based on design and functionality requirements
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to ensure proper website structure and usability
  • Implement SEO best practices and ensure website responsiveness across devices
  • Manage website security, updates, and backups
  • Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CMS-related issues or bugs
  • Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and analytics systems
  • Maintain documentation for website configurations and updates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
  • Proven experience as a CMS Developer or Web Developer
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
  • Hands-on experience with major CMS platforms (especially WordPress)
  • Knowledge of website optimization, security protocols, and responsive design
  • Experience in plugin development, theme customization, and API integration
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a development team
  • Willing to work on-site or hybrid, depending on company needs

Work Setup:

  • Office-based (willing to be assigned in Hernan Cortes, Mandaue)
  • Regular working hours, Monday to Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
