We are looking for an
Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our global Group Security department and be a key member of the virtual Infrastructure Security Delivery team
. Your goal will be to ensure continual security improvement within the delivery and management of our core infrastructure, connected security platforms and key advancements into Microsoft Azure AI Services. This role is a senior specialist position as the technical lead for all matters pertaining to the security of infrastructure technology at Cambridge.

What will you do as an Infrastructure Security Analyst?
As a specialist Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role as a member of the virtual Infrastructure Security delivery team. You will be accountable to Cambridge's global Group Security department, meaning a close interaction with colleagues within the wider Security Engineering team each with their own specialisms. Your expertise and insights will ensure that effective security measures are embedded within Cambridge's infrastructure, and that advancements have crucial security oversight particularly within the space of the security of Microsoft Azure AI Services.

It is essential that you have knowledge in securing traditional core enterprise infrastructure technology services, experience of working with security monitoring tools, and knowledge of recent advancements with IaaS and AI particularly within Azure.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?
An ideal candidate has the following qualities:

Essential:

• 5+ years of experience working within and securing core infrastructure within a large enterprise.
• Demonstrable ability of assessing, planning, and implementing security controls within a Windows domain. network and associated cloud and hybrid environments such as Microsoft 365.
• Experience working with security monitoring platforms such as vulnerability management and SIEM, with a focus on log ingestion, detection engineering and security orchestration & automation.
• Skilled with common scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Linux systems would be beneficial.
• Certifications in security and infrastructure is an advantage (e.g. ISC2 CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft).
