QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (required)

Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in telecom infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on submarine cable systems

Proven expertise in designing and deploying wet and dry plant infrastructure, including SLTE, PFE, and CLS integration

Strong background in DWDM/OTN systems, network architecture, and transmission planning

Experience working with international cable consortiums, marine survey teams, and major telecom vendors

Hands-on experience with capacity planning, route engineering, and integration with terrestrial transport networks

TECHNICAL SKILLS/EXPERTISE:

Deep knowledge of how submarine infrastructure supports international and domestic bandwidth demand, redundancy, and strategic connectivity

Strong awareness of CAPEX/OPEX implications, lifecycle cost modeling, and return on investment for submarine builds

Understanding of regulatory, environmental, and permitting factors affecting cable engineering and deployment

Ability to align technical engineering decisions with commercial goals, consortium obligations, and long-term network strategies
