NGFW Network Security Engineer

Contract:

Manila and Cebu

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced
NGFW Engineer

with hands-on expertise in
Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)

and
Prisma Access

solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network security infrastructures for large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and support Palo Alto Networks NGFW and Prisma Access solutions.
  • Lead and manage security initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex networking and security issues across multi-platform infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security best practices and business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to peers and clients.
  • Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with
    Palo Alto Networks NGFW

and
Prisma Access

technologies.
- Strong background in
network security architecture and solution leadership

within large environments.
- Deep understanding of
security threats, internet protocols, and applications.
- Hands-on expertise in installation, configuration, and operation

of high-end firewall appliances (preferably Palo Alto Networks products).
- Solid
TCP/IP networking skills

and troubleshooting experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication

skills (English and local language).
- Demonstrated
project leadership

and stakeholder management experience.
