Job Title: First Aider

Position Brief

As a First Aider, you will be the first point of contact for providing immediate care to injured or ill individuals on-site. Your primary responsibility is to ensure their safety and well-being until professional medical assistance arrives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Rapidly assess emergency situations and provide appropriate first aid treatment in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide reassurance and emotional support to casualties, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Prioritize safety by protecting yourself and others from potential hazards, and implement infection control measures to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Continuously monitor the casualty's condition and effectively communicate with emergency services to facilitate timely and appropriate medical intervention.
  • Accurately document all incidents and maintain comprehensive first aid records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain first aid kits and medical supplies, ensuring they are fully stocked and readily accessible.
  • Actively support the Safety Officer in promoting a culture of health and safety awareness throughout the organization.

Minimum Requirements

  • Completion of a relevant vocational course or equivalent certification.
  • Current and valid Standard First Aid Certificate with AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) techniques and the principles of the 3 P's (Preserve life, Prevent further injury, Promote recovery).
  • Excellent reporting, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated physical fitness and emotional stability to perform duties effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php795.00 per day
