About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of proven experience in residential construction contract administration, with strong expertise in managing documentation, compliance, and project coordination. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all residential projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage residential construction contracts, variations, and progress claims.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate submissions of quotes and scopes.
- Monitor and track project budgets, timelines, and contract obligations.
- Coordinate approvals, permits, and other documentation in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Assist in preparing project schedules, scopes of work, and tender submissions.
- Transition and manage project data from BuildXact to WonderBuild software.
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to support cost estimation and procurement when needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation across all projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years proven experience as a Contract Administrator in the residential construction industry.
- Strong background in architectural residential projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with construction management software, preferably BuildXact, and willingness to adapt to WonderBuild.
- Background in estimation or costing will be an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of residential construction processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
