II. BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Translates a curriculum plan into concrete learning experience in the classroom. He/She produces the climate, provides the resources, and stimulates the students to explore, investigate and seek answers. The Faculty member is a guide and a facilitator of learning.

III. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Specific Duties

a. Imparts knowledge and skills to his students.

b. Ensures smooth acquisition of necessary knowledge and skills.

c. Utilizes appropriate approaches in presenting lessons

d. Correlates subject matters with experiences and other related current issues

e. Ensures a logical flow in the presentation of lessons

f. Utilizes appropriate and useful learning materials

g. Uses those of instruction effectively.

h. Encourages the students to participate in the class proceedings.

i. Promotes activities eliciting cooperation and involvement.

j. Monitors and assists the students in the performance of an activity or task.

k. Maintains discipline among students in his class.

l. Prepares testing materials

m. Evaluates students' performance.

  1. Confers with parents/guardians on the academic performance of their children.

a. Maintains records of students.

b. Submits required reports.

c. Perform other task and/s functions as may be assigned and/or required by the College Dean /Principal/School Director/School Authorities.

Qualifications

  • Academic : A holder of Doctoral degree aligned with the

Graduate Program, conferred by a college or university duly

recognized by the Commission on Higher Education.

: Holder of Professional License (if applicable)

  • Work Experience : Shall have at least one (1) year teaching experience

in his/her major filed of specialization.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php Php750.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
