Job description:

The Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in the school. This includes performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in various areas such as offices, hallways, restrooms, faculty offices and classrooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
  • Replenish restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
  • Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and elevator buttons.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners.
  • Perform routine cleaning of office spaces, conference rooms, and common areas.
  • Floor Care:
  • Maintain floor appearance by cleaning, polishing, and buffing floors.
  • Handle floor care equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers.
  • Sweep, mop, or vacuum entryways and hallways.
  • General Maintenance:
  • Notify supervisors of any repair or maintenance issues.
  • Ensure janitorial closets are well-stocked with supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including handling hazardous cleaning materials and chemicals.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control practices.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Special Projects:
  • Assist with deep cleaning tasks during scheduled or seasonal cleaning projects.
  • Perform additional cleaning duties as requested, including carpet cleaning or window washing.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • At least high school graduate/ALS graduate
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is a plus, but not required.

SCHEDULE: (MON - SAT) (6AM-3PM/7AM-4PM/8AM-5PM/9AM-6PM)

LOCATION: OB MONTESSORI CENTER - LAS PINAS (LUXEMBOURG ST. B.F. HOMES, LAS PINAS CITY - NEAR CAA and SOUTHVILLE INTERNATIONAL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php695.00 per day
