BASIC FUNCTIONS:

The University Physician provides quality health care for the students, faculty and employees of the University to achieve optimum level of health among them and to help institute measures in order to prevent or minimize the incidence of illnesses and accidents within the area of the University.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Aids the school administrators in setting up policies and procedures for maintaining and promoting the health of the student population.
• Conducts yearly physical examination of students of all levels.
• Gives medical consultations and treatment to students and employees.
• Makes referrals to specialists in cases which are beyond his capacity to handle.
• Conducts orientation activities and trainings on medical related matters.
• Conducts annual physical examination of varsity players, players for intramurals, students who will undergo on-the-job trainings, COCC applicants and practicums.
• Conducts a continuing program on the dissemination of health information to students, employees and parents.
• Gives medical certificates to students and employee who went on leave due to illness.
• Helps the administration in the supervision of sanitation and safety of the school plant.
• Sees not only that the school health services are adequate, safe and effective but also contributes to the constructive learning experiences of the child.
• Submits required reports.
• Updates himself with the latest trends and researches in the field of medicine.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php22, Php31,000.00 per month
