About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Budget Officer to join our growing finance team. The role is critical in ensuring that company resources are planned, allocated, and utilized efficiently to support business growth and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis experience—preferably gained from a manufacturing or related industry setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, consolidating inputs from various departments.
  • Monitor and analyze budget performance against actual results, highlighting key variances and trends.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure proper budgetary control by reviewing departmental spending and recommending cost optimization measures.
  • Prepare and present monthly budget reports, cash flow projections, and performance dashboards to management.
  • Support internal audits, statutory compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and accounting teams to ensure budget alignment with operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial planning, or management accounting (preferably in manufacturing, agribusiness, or FMCG).
  • Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks), and financial modeling tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
