Job Summary

Manages and administers the functions of the activities and personnel of the Inventory and Warehouse Group.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the day to day activities of the logistics, warehouse, inventory management group.
  • Strategizes and formulates policies on the efficient and economic use of the company's warehouse facilities and inventory resources.
  • Optimizes use of warehouse by determining optimum stock levels, utilizing inter- warehouse stock transfers, and leading the disposal of non-moving inventory to free up warehouse space.
  • Manages inter-warehouse movement of materials.
  • Check and analyze monthly inventory report of all project warehouse to determine actual inventory of each project.
  • Ensures inventory data accuracy and integrity thru periodic inventory physical count in coordination with Accounting department.
  • Checks and monitors construction status and ensures proper documentation (i.e. PR) is in place for the material requirements of the projects.
  • Check and monitor delivery status of Materials.
  • Attend to inquiries, follow-up, concerns, and problems of MCE (Material Control Engineer), office staff and warehousemen of all project warehouse. Check, and evaluate purchase requisitions (PR) of Housing Construction.
  • Evaluate and compile monthly report of MCE to cost accounting and Planning & Design.
  • Regular site visit/ checking and meeting with MCE, warehousemen, PIC of all project warehouse.
  • Attend coordination meetings with executive office and other department.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree, preferably Engineering (Civil or Industrial)
  • With at least ten (10) years experience in warehousing and logistics.Preferably, with experience in the Construction industry
  • Knowledge in inventory management and basic functionalities of a typical inventory management program.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication skills, people management skills.
