About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commissary Operations Manager to join our team at Priima Food Ventures Corporation, one of the country's growing Korean BBQ brands.

Based in Loma de Gato, Marilao, Bulacan, this full-time leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our central commissary, ensuring smooth and efficient production, warehousing, and distribution of food products to our branches.

As part of a fast-growing F&B group with national expansion plans, the Commissary Operations Manager will take full ownership of commissary performance, from production planning and inventory control to staff supervision, food safety compliance, and logistics coordination.

This is a key strategic position for someone who thrives in building systems, leading people, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the setup and organization of the new commissary facility — including layout planning, workflow design, and equipment readiness.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise commissary staff to ensure operational readiness and team alignment.
  • Manage daily commissary operations: receiving, production, packing, storage, and dispatch.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, improve productivity, and reduce shrinkage and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and quality standards (NMIS, DOLE, and LGU).
  • Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and branch operations to align production with demand and supply schedules.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (output yield, wastage, labor productivity, dispatch accuracy).
  • Prepare and present regular reports and improvement plans to senior management.
  • Foster a positive and disciplined work culture, encouraging teamwork and continuous learning.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in commissary, production, or warehouse management — preferably in food manufacturing or restaurant operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, production planning, cold storage, and logistics processes.
  • Proven ability to set up operations from scratch and hire or train staff effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and leadership skills; can make practical decisions under pressure.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel or other data tools for tracking performance and inventory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable coordinating across departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Willing to work onsite in Marilao, Bulacan (Monday–Saturday schedule)
