We are seeking an energetic and relationship-focused Community Manager to join Prosmash, our dynamic padel club and wellness destination. This unique role combines community building expertise with operational management to create an exceptional member experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering meaningful connections within our padel community while ensuring smooth daily operations that support our members' wellness journey.
As our Community Manager, you will be the heart of our club culture, building lasting relationships with members, organizing engaging events, and creating an inclusive environment where every member feels valued and connected. You'll balance hands-on operational responsibilities with strategic community development to drive member retention, satisfaction, and growth.
What You'll Do
Community Building & Member Relations
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to foster strong relationships among members
- Plan, organize, and execute social events, tournaments, wellness workshops, and community gatherings
- Create and maintain member communication channels (social media groups, newsletters, member portals)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member feedback, suggestions, and concerns
- Build partnerships with local businesses and wellness practitioners to enhance member offerings
- Develop member retention programs and referral initiatives
- Facilitate introductions between members to strengthen the community network
- Monitor and respond to online reviews and social media interactions
Operations Management
- Oversee daily club operations including facility maintenance, equipment management, and safety protocols
- Coordinate court scheduling, booking systems, and member access
- Supervise and train front desk staff, instructors, and support personnel
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate maintenance services
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle member registration, renewals, and billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate member databases and operational records
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures
Business Development & Growth
- Identify opportunities to increase membership and revenue through community initiatives
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns focused on community engagement
- Analyze member usage patterns and preferences to improve services
- Create monthly reports on community engagement metrics and operational performance
- Support new member onboarding and orientation programs
- Collaborate with management on strategic planning and goal setting
Minimum Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in community management, club operations, or customer relationship roles
- Demonstrated experience in event planning and community engagement
- Strong background in customer service and member relations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
- Experience with booking systems and basic facility management
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in sports clubs, fitness centers, or wellness facilities
- Knowledge of padel or racquet sports
- Bilingual capabilities (specify languages relevant to your location)
- Certification in hospitality or recreation management
- Experience with CRM software and community management platforms
- Marketing and promotional experience
- First Aid/CPR certification
