Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll Administration, Disbursements, Progress Claims, and Invoicing. The role requires familiarity with Australian accounting standards and hands-on experience using ERP and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, and other finance software.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles and is highly organized, analytical, and able to work independently while supporting the broader finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (AP, AR, payroll, invoicing, disbursements).
  • Experience working with Australian clients or within Australian accounting standards (preferred).
  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and/or other accounting systems and ERPs.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, billing cycles, and financial documentation.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
