About the Role

At Sun Life's Global Service Desk, we empower our clients to focus on their work by resolving their IT issues efficiently. From password resets to software installations on laptops and mobile devices, we tackle a wide range of IT challenges.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in any IT-related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in BPO Contact Centre as Technical Support
  • Strong technical and client support skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ability to work night shifts
Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the first line of support for Sun Life employees' technical issues worldwide
  2. Collaborate within an IT support team to develop proactive solutions
  3. Prioritize quick resolution to minimize client downtime
  4. Utilize active listening and targeted questioning to accurately assess client needs
  5. Apply resourceful and creative problem-solving approaches
  6. Manage and triage email support requests
  7. Leverage the Knowledge Base (KB) effectively to find solutions
  8. Seek assistance from experienced colleagues and specialized teams when needed
  9. Document call details to track and improve client experiences
  10. Escalate complex issues to specialized teams while keeping clients informed
  11. Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Knowledge Base
  12. Gain insights into other Service Desk areas by providing overflow support during busy periods
