Quality Control Engineer/Architect

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee and monitor quality control processes for all finishing works


• Lead the Application team with the General Foreman for the pre-installation alignment meetings to discuss the project objectives


• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved samples, specifications, and workmanship standards.


• Review and validate material applications, surface preparation, and installation techniques to ensure they meet manufacturer and project requirements.


• Prepare and maintain QC reports, checklists, and documentation for all quality-related activities.


• Coordinate with the Project Coordinators, Site Supervisors, and Applicator Teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.


• Liaise with clients, consultants, and designers for mock-up approvals, punch list closures, and final acceptance.


• Identify potential quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.


• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards during project implementation.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives in application techniques and quality procedures.


• Establish a quality management system.

Qualifications


• Licensed Architect or Civil Engineer preferred but not required.


• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in quality control or supervision of architectural finishing works.


• Strong knowledge of decorative finishes, coatings, wall systems, and surface preparation techniques.


• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams and site personnel.


• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic project reporting tools.
