Job description

A Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet specific standards and criteria set by a company or industry. Their primary goal is to maintain and enhance the quality of the products or services produced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-line monitoring, which includes the daily verification of laboratory equipment, daily hygiene monitoring, and daily sanitation checking.

  • Conduct daily monitoring for in-process products

  • Responsible in monitoring the compliance of Good Warehousing Practices of Drivers and Helpers during receiving of container on all cold storages.

  • Audit processes to ensure compliance of GMP standards

  • Responsible in monitoring the temperature of freezers, reefer van and items for receiving.

  • Conducts orientation for warehouseman and logistics personnel.

  • Observes/complies with company policies and procedures.

  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate of Food Technology, BS Chemical Engineering, or Technology/Science-related programs. Fresh graduates are welcome.

  • With at least 1 year of exposure in the food industry or at least knowledgeable in the food industry

Competency Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of assurance-related concepts (GMP, Food Safety and Sanitation)

  • Analytical and fact-based decision-maker

  • Ability to quickly identify issues and risks and provide recommendations

  • Knowledgeable in MS Office applications, use of email and other digital tools.

  • Ability to present reports.

  • Keen on details

  • Negotiation skills

  • Team Player

  • Ability to work independently
