Job Description

A Front Office Associate assists guests throughout their stay by providing exceptional customer service at the front desk. This role handles check-ins, check-outs, reservations, inquiries, and guest concerns while ensuring a warm, efficient, and welcoming experience. The Front Office Associate also coordinates with other departments to meet guest needs and maintain hotel service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and handle check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage room assignments, reservations, and guest profiles accurately
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate billing
  • Operate the PMS and other front office systems efficiently
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other teams as needed
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and deliver service recovery
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable front desk and lobby area
  • Follow hotel policies, safety guidelines, and service standards

Qualifications

  • Experience in front desk or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, courteous, and guest-focused attitude
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Familiarity with hotel systems/PMS is an advantage
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
