Associate Director, Accounting Process Management

Our Client, a global healthcare company is looking for an Associate Director for Accounting Process Management, who will drive end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process excellence within the GBS. This includes leading AP efficiency initiatives, standardizing global processes, managing transformation workshops, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and owning continuous improvement across global sites. This is a remote, contract role.

The length of this contract will be until the end of 2025, with the likelihood of renewal well into 2026. The selected candidate must be able to work the Client's EU hours. Key Responsibilities:Lead Accounts Payable (AP) efficiency initiatives and drive continuous process improvement

Establish, track, and report on key efficiency and performance metrics for P2P processes

Develop and implement standardized approaches for Finance Transformation (FT) discovery

Provide strategic process guidance to operational teams on P2PAlign P2P practices with both internal goals and industry best practices

Define and maintain continuous improvement targets and ensure metrics are effectively tracked

Coordinate cross-functional transformation efforts with Global Process Owner (GPO) teams

Act as end-to-end process controller for P2P operations across the global landscape

Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop necessary P2P policies and governance structures

Evaluate current KPIs, shift focus from transactional to analytical performance indicators

Conduct root cause analysis on site-level SLA variances and recommend cross-site enhancements

Collaborate with Internal Audit to establish process-level controls, documentation, and compliance standards

Align transformation efforts across countries, sites, and functional teams based on opportunity and business priority

Lead stakeholder engagement and manage change at both regional and global levels

Oversee a global network of regional Process Managers, Sub-Process Owners, Super Users, and Data StewardsHarmonize tools, metrics, and processes across GBS teams and partnering COEsOwn the modification and improvement of existing systems/processes with measurable impact

Share technical expertise, drive best practice alignment, and support peer managers and function leaders

Support implementation and scaling of P2P systems and tools within GBSPerform other related duties and project support as requiredRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Operations7-10 years of experience in shared services, finance transformation, or P2P process leadership

Proven ability to manage global projects and teams in a matrixed environment

Strong background in KPI design, operational efficiency, and change management

Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred), automation tools, and P2P platforms

Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
