Job description:

The MHE Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring that all material handling equipment (MHE)—including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and conveyors—operate safely and efficiently. This role performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime and support continuous warehouse operations.

Education and Experience:

  • Technical/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology or any related course.
  • 1–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance (preferably MHE or warehouse setting).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Physically fit, safety-oriented, and detail-driven.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance - Conduct regular preventive maintenance as per equipment schedules. Replace worn-out parts, lubricate moving components, and adjust systems as needed.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting - Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or pneumatic faults in MHE. Perform corrective repairs promptly to reduce downtime.
  • Inventory and Support - Assist in maintaining the stock of spare parts and consumables. Support other maintenance activities and equipment installation when needed.
  • Safety Compliance - Ensure all work follows safety standards, company policies, and regulatory guidelines. Report unsafe conditions or recurring equipment issues immediately.
