Data & Operations Support Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated Junior Analysts to join our Data & Operations Support Team in Manila. This role provides vital support to our London-based Investment Research and Data teams, offering an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the investment management industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, proficiency with data management tools, and the initiative to contribute to process improvements within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Research Support

• Prepare and format investment reports, client presentations, and other materials to a high professional standard.
• Assist in building research outputs, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and presentation quality.
• Maintain CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and investment databases—removing duplicates, verifying contacts, and ensuring data integrity.
• Support AI model training by organizing and formatting historical investment data for structured database use.

Data Capture & Quality Control

• Input investment fund and manager data into proprietary databases.
• Conduct validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with the London Data team to resolve discrepancies and maintain updated records.
• Contribute ideas for improving data capture processes and efficiency.

Key Competencies & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (experience with UpSlide is an advantage).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to follow structured workflows and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn about investments, research, and AI applications in finance.

Desirable Skills

• Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar systems.
• Background in financial or investment data management.
• Familiarity with structured/unstructured data preparation for analytics or AI models.

Work Setup

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM PH Time
• Setup: Initially fully remote, with occasional meetups
• Future Hybrid Arrangement: Minimum 3 days onsite per week once the Manila office is established
• Hybrid policy subject to periodic review
