THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a fast-growing, mission-driven institute that's reshaping how structural engineers break into the Australian workforce. Specializing in project-based training and internship programs, helping migrant, graduate, and early-career engineers overcome the "no local experience" barrier by offering real-world exposure to residential design and construction projects aligned with Australian standards.
As an Appointment Setter / Sales Support Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for aspiring engineers who are ready to take the next step in their careers. These are warm, pre-qualified leads, no cold calling, just meaningful conversations that connect individuals with the client's expert Program Advisors. Your role will be critical in helping future engineers gain the skills, confidence, and credentials they need to thrive in Australia's competitive job market.
This role follows Melbourne business hours (6:00 AM–3:00 PM PH time / 8:00 AM–5:00 PM TH/VN time). It will be full-time onsite during the first 3 months, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and qualify warm inbound leads via phone and email. No cold calling required.
- Understand each lead's goals and book them into video appointments with Program Advisors.
- Maintain accurate CRM records using ActiveCampaign, ensuring all lead statuses and notes are up to date.
- Use Calendly to manage appointment scheduling and optimize show-up rates.
- Participate in daily Zoom huddles to align with the team and share updates.
Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in appointment setting, customer service, or sales.
- Excellent spoken and written English. Confident, clear, and personable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, energetic personality.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (ActiveCampaign preferred) and online scheduling platforms like Calendly.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a goal-driven environment.
- Able to work independently while staying connected with a remote team.
