
Front Desk and Reservation Officer

A Desk and Reservation Officer manages appointments, greets guests, handles payments, and maintains the reception area to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. Key duties include booking services, providing information on spa offerings, communicating with staff, processing transactions, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Qualifications often include strong customer service skills, computer proficiency, and sometimes prior spa or hospitality experience.
Successful candidate will be assigned to a newly opened Massage & Wellness Spa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Greet guests, provide spa information, and address their needs and inquiries.
- Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and manage individual and group appointments using reservation software.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, maintain guest records, and prepare administrative documents.
- Sales and Promotion: Promote and sell spa services, packages, and products to guests.
- Front Desk Operations: Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming, and maintain retail displays.
- Staff Coordination: Collaborate with other spa staff, such as therapists and the sales manager, to ensure seamless service.
- Inventory and Supplies: Assist in managing inventory and ordering necessary supplies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems, reservation software, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage appointments, records, and the reception area.
Experience: Previous experience in a spa, hospitality, or customer service role is often preferred.
