Job Description

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reports, insightful analyses, and collaborative solutions that empower data-based decision-making. Your ability to manage multi-site accounts, partner with stakeholders, and implement continuous process improvements will be crucial in driving business growth and operational efficiency.

The Qualifications We Seek

Experience

  • 1-3 years' experience in a management accountant, analyst, or similar role
  • Multi-site financial experience is essential
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial control
  • Part qualified/studying towards ACCA / CIMA / ACA
  • BS Accountancy graduate
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across stakeholders
  • Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and turn them into usable outputs efficiently
  • Can develop processes and communicate them clearly with the drive to ensure adherence

Preferred

  • Oracle experience preferred
  • UK experience preferred but not required if familiar with double-entry systems
  • Experience handling publicly listed companies based in the Philippines
  • Experience working as an auditor in any of the Big 4 accounting firms
  • Exposure to taxation in any territory

Technical Skills

  • Good data manipulation and interrogation skills
  • Good IT skills (Excel - preferably Advanced level, and Oracle)
  • Familiarity with OLAP tools such as Smartview
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and processes

Your Daily Tasks

  • Respond promptly and professionally to queries and take corrective actions
  • Prepare monthly commentaries used by senior decision-makers
  • Post accurate month-end accruals and prepayments after GL and budget analysis
  • Maintain allocation models ensuring correct cost allocations
  • Coordinate with various departments and suppliers for information gathering
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and clear reconciling items
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial and external reporting
  • Produce accurate P&Ls, monthly reviews, and supporting schedules
  • Tighten cost control and improve site-by-site accuracy
  • Distribute cost trackers to support cost control initiatives
  • Simplify finance processes and implement improvements
  • Assist in budget preparation with complete documentation and business alignment
  • Liaise with auditors for information and respond to inquiries
  • Handle ad hoc tasks/projects as required by line manager
  • Support and train team members when necessary
  • Ensure all assigned tasks align with role grade and scope
  • Provide financial analysis and P&Ls to support business decisions
  • Submit timely and accurate journals and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Identify opportunities for risk management and process improvements
  • Provide performance reporting and support for Leased Estate analysis
  • Build stakeholder relationships and proactively share financial insights
  • Partner with Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Manager for data-based decision-making
  • Manage month-end processes including reporting, variance explanations, and cut-off adherence
