JOB TITLE:
Finance Analyst

Role Summary
In addition to providing strong analytical and reporting skills, the successful candidate will work directly with the Finance Director and be a key member of the European finance team.

Essential Job Functions

  • Review accuracy of business cases submitted by initiative owners in the Wave project platform.
  • Communicate with all initiative owners around actuals tracking (financially), and heavy assistance with KPI / Milestones tracking.
  • Support initiative owners in forecasting, budgeting and assessing risks and recommend a plan to build gaps.
  • Create reporting around variance analysis on a monthly or potentially weekly basis.
  • Contribute in other financial activities such as monthly accounting close & reporting process.
  • Support finance's standing goal to continuously improve the quality, efficiency and value of financial information produced, via financial tools such as Wave, operational efficiencies, and automation.
  • Support in all integration financial aspects and ad hoc activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years post qualification experience working in financial analysis, accounting, or similar.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in financial analysis, accounting, management consulting or similar.

Preferred Requirements

  • Ability to work in the Irish/UK time zone.
  • Business partnering experience
  • Advanced excel skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with team and top management is essential as well as good presentation skills.
