The
Project Engineer
is responsible for providing assistance to the Senior Project Engineer to various tasks such as creating technical plans, performing calculations, preparation of reports and etc. He/She will complete routine engineering works and oversee minor engineering projects under the supervision of the Senior Project Engineer.

  • Contributes to the development of engineering plans and designs.
  • Assist in budget preparation for projects and monitors project expenditures.
  • Provide technical and professional assistance to staff; review plans, specifications, contract documents, and other reports and documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in policy and procedure development and implementation.
  • Review and estimates costs for projects.
  • Assist the senior engineer in providing project quotations
  • Analyzes quotes and bids to assist the project senior engineer.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
  • Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at the project site.
  • Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 2 years of site experience
  • Sense of responsibility, urgency, reliability, ownership on deliverables, commitment to the task, and must be result-driven.
  • Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Site experience is highly advantageous
  • Efficiency in design and document preparation programs: CAD (Required), Microsoft Office, Sketch-up is a plus
  • Willing to work in Las Piñas City
