Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage.
  • With at least five (3-5) years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Revit MEP, CAD, and other design and modeling software.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical system design standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Knowledgeable in energy-efficient and sustainable design practices (e.g., LEED or equivalent).
  • Must be willing to work onsite at Alabang-Zapote Road cor. Daang Radyal, Barangay Zapote, Las Piñas.
  • Work Schedule (Compressed Work Week) : Monday to Friday: 8:30AM - 6:00PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document detailed plans, layouts, and schematics for mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection. Utilize design software such as Revit MEP to ensure systems are accurately integrated with the building's architectural and structural components.
  • Work closely with architects, structural engineers, project managers, and clients to develop integrated design solutions and ensure project goals are met. Assist in project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling as required.
  • Oversee the installation of mechanical equipment and systems on-site, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure they are installed correctly.
  • Review mechanical designs and plans to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and safety standards. Conduct inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct test runs of installed systems and provide guidance for long-term maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure efficient operation.
  • Analyze problems related to mechanical systems and develop creative and effective solutions to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Incorporate energy-efficient technologies into designs to reduce environmental impact and meet sustainability standards, such as LEED certification.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
