Position: Accounting Specialist

Work Setup: Mon - Fri, Onsite; Sat, Work-from-home

The role is responsible for executing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports to support the operations of BRAND GALLERY PACKAGING WORLD, INC. or GENIE PRODUCT CONCEPTS MANUFACTURING CORPORATION, whichever will be assigned. This role is under BGVI, the parent company, but is dedicated to the accounting requirements of the subsidiary. The position will handle the general accounting process, including bookkeeping, reporting, and accounts receivables, with a strong emphasis on compliance with Philippine regulatory requirements. Experience in BIR reporting and statutory filings is critical to ensure timely and accurate tax submissions.

Job Description

General Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy of ledgers.
  • Prepare journal entries, adjustments, and account reconcilliations.
  • Maintain complete and organized accounting records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Accounts Receivable & Collections

  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely billing and collections.
  • Record, track, and reconcile incoming payments.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams to address collection issues.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Prepare, file, and submit all statutory reports required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), including but not limited to VAT, EWT, Income tax, and other related filings.
  • Ensure compliance with all local tax laws, deadlines, and regulatory updates.
  • Liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Support the preparation of consolidated reports for BGVI/BGPWI/GPMC.
  • Other accounting tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any business related course.
  • Strong familiarity with the accounting cycle and processes with high regard for meeting deadlines.
  • at least 3-5 years of solid accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of BIR compliances is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and assertive when needed.
  • Work experience in a manufacturing or B2B setup is and advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23, Php26,000.00 per month
