  • Interface with co-engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers and site office about day-to-day work plans, accomplishment, critical schedules, and quality control and assurance policies of KPI
  • Report site coordinating issues with sub-contractors and team members
  • Coordinate safety efforts, quality control, ISO quality manuals during working time and weekly sub-contractors meeting
  • Interpret plans, drawings, details and specs for sub-contractors and specialty contractors
  • Inspect all incoming materials, equipment and tools against specifications, drawings, technical manufacturers data and control any item found with defects
  • Physically attend all laboratories testing of acquired samples from project sites, ensure that laboratory equipment is calibrated
  • Inform Sr. Civil engineers of any non-conformities and responsible for its control until removal from site, investigate the alleged causes of the failure of the material
  • Perform daily onsite inspection of sub-contractor's workmanship, materials being used, review daily QC sub-contractor's report and prepare QA reports
  • Pro-active in the quality control and supervision of the project
  • Take and prepare meeting minutes for all sub-contractor's meeting
  • Check shop drawings and as-built drawings
  • Prepare calculations on the proposed project before completing technical drawings
  • Prepare technical reports, terms of reference, bid documents and estimates
  • Review/Evaluate the technical specifications of the project assigned
  • Analyze design issues, response to RFIs, RFAs, bid queries and recommend corrective actions
  • Creation of technical reports and documentation as required for projects
  • Review shop drawings from contractors to ensure drawings match with specifications
  • Sketch and draw up designs using input from Engineers and immediate superior
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate project details
  • Attend and participate in online/project-related meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS Civil Engineering
  • Well-versed in Civil Structural installation
  • Knowledgeable in the use of AutoCAD and other graphic software applications
  • Knowledgeable in supervising on any matters relevant to Civil and Structural works on a manufacturing plant
  • Able to solve problems, analyze issues and provide immediate solution
  • Able to manage multiple improvement initiatives
  • Possess solid presentation abilities combined with good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Possess good communication skills, proven ability to articulate ideas, give feedback, resolve conflicts and point out areas where improvement is needed
  • Able to develop a positive relationship with employees to develop credibility
  • Result-oriented and willing to be on-call during nights and weekends
  • Willing to work in Mahayag, Bunawan District, Davao City

Job Type: Fixed term
