About the role

As an experienced IT Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation initiatives within the banking division of Ascendion, a leading technology solutions provider. Based in our Makati City office, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and translate them into practical technology solutions that enhance efficiency and drive innovation.

What you'll be doing

  • Elicit, document and analyse business requirements for new technology initiatives or system enhancements
  • Conduct detailed process mapping and analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Translate business needs into comprehensive technical specifications and user stories
  • Work closely with IT development teams to ensure effective implementation and testing of solutions
  • Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate a smooth transition to new systems
  • Continuously monitor and optimise implemented solutions to drive continued business value

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Proficiency in business process mapping, data modelling and requirements elicitation techniques
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools and techniques
  • Understanding of banking operations, products and regulatory compliance requirements
