Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will lead material takeoffs, assess costs, analyze drawings, manage variations, and support tendering to ensure cost efficiency and project success. You'll deliver precise estimates, monitor budgets, and collaborate closely with teams to drive informed financial decisions.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1 year relevant experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with internal teams and external partners
• Experienced in cost planning software and Excel-based reporting
• Proactive, solution-focused, and committed to delivering value

Your Daily Tasks

• Material Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed take off sheets by analysing architectural plans, specifications, and scope documents.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Tendering & Procurement: Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, negotiate pricing and terms, and support contract finalisation.
• Cost Reporting: Generate regular cost reports, track expenditure against budget, and provide insights to improve cost-effectiveness.
• Risk & Variation Management: Identify cost risks early, manage variations, and ensure all changes are documented and costed appropriately.
