Aftersales Technical and Training Manager

About the role

Geely Motor Philippines Corp. is seeking a talented and experienced Aftersales Technical and Training Manager to lead the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for our nationwide dealer network. In this full-time, office-based role in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for ensuring our technicians and sales teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional customer service and support.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, design, and implement training programs for automotive technicians and service personnel on various systems (e.g., electrical, mechanical, hybrid, etc.).
• Create training materials, manuals, presentations, and eLearning modules that reflect the latest automotive technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
• Lead and facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
• Ensure that training materials, tools, and equipment are up-to-date and well-maintained.
• Provide technical support through internal technical team for troubleshooting complex automotive issues and offer guidance in diagnosing problems.
• Work closely with automotive technicians, service managers, and internal technical team to understand training needs and identify critical areas of focus.
• Offer one-on-one coaching and mentorship to internal technical team, ensuring their competency in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Monitor and track the progress of trainees, identifying areas for improvement.
• Continuously assess training needs, identify skill gaps, and update training programs to reflect changes

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a technical training or learning and development role, ideally within the automotive industry
• Proven ability to design and deliver effective, engaging training programs using a variety of methods and technologies
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics and repair procedures
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Proficient in using learning management systems and other training-related software
• A passion for continuous improvement and a track record of driving positive change
